Feelgood Designs is an Australian furniture label with a focus on well-designed, quality furniture that’s built to last. In 2018 I collaborated with art director Micha Kumpf to redesign their website, incorporating a mini-brand refresh.

Project Goals
A responsive site that uses images to full-effect; to help users find what they need; to bring Feelgood’s brand to life online; to show the craftsmanship that goes into each piece.
I interview architects, retailers and vendors to get informed on their needs and perception of the brand. These findings inform our design concept.
Using feedback from the interviews and clients, we map out a structure for the site and organise the content.
Part of our original concept is a ‘Workshop’ section which gives a peak behind the curtain into the manufacturing process.
The client favours a lighter-handed approach, so we settle on highlighting designers and materials by giving these subjects their own pages.
One of the most important pages on the site is the product details page, where different users have different needs. Wireframing helps us organise the information and user-testing verifies our concept.
